No, I stay away from mods and custom content. I tried to repair the game, it worked for a while, then a Sim got stuck in a piano. 

What your Sim is doing is known as a T pose. I wonder if it's related to this bug report:

Yes, I did. The game was already acting pretty 'glitchy" before that though. Hopefully, they find a solution soon.
