Many thanks crinrict it worked.
I had already read about and tried the repair game on the Origin client but that didn't work.
When I went and uninstalled via the delete option, by right clicking on the game, under the "My Games" tab in the Origin Client, this made the way for me to then reinstall via logging out of Origin and reinstalling by disk, following the prompts via my drive.
It worked brilliantly and I am happily up and running once again with no funny codes :D

Google is your friend 😉
I’ve tried to click on the game icon “repair” but that’s not even a Option. So could I just use my sims on another computer and delete off my main computer? And just use a new computer for my game.
