Re: when i open the sims4 the game crash and they say the sims 4 stoped working

I had this happen to me too. It's probably because you installed some bad CC into the game. Here's what I did to get it working. First,  I went into the folder that stores all my content and I split up all my content into a series of folders. Labeling them like, Folder #1. I put about 5-10 items in each folder. Then I took out all the folders, putting them somewhere safe. Then, one at a time, I put a folder back into the Sims 4 Mods folder. Then what you're gonna wanna do is open the game to see if it works each time you add another folder in. When you put a specific folder in and it causes the game to stop working, you need to find out what's causing it. Taking out each item in the folder, put it back into another safe folder. When you finally open up the game and it is responding. You'll know which item did it  since the moment you take it out, the game responds. So after, you can put back the working items and delete the bad item! As far as I know, this was the only strategy that works for me. And I hope it helps you as well! ♥
