@LostMyFudginMind  Thanks, and the dxdiag does show one major problem: the graphics driver, or one of them anyway, is crashing.  The Intel driver is probably fine, but the Nvidia one should be updated.  This is the newest driver you can use with your 610M:

Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator."  Choose the Custom (not Express) install method, and check the box to perform a clean install.  Don't install GeForce Experience if you're given the option.  Restart your computer after installing and before trying to play.

    I ran the game without my mods folder and newcrest works. I put the mod folder back and have the same issue. I'am wondering why all the other worlds work just fine, except Newcrest?

    @kendramjf  It's difficult to be sure, but the most likely possibility is that you used some modded content in Newcrest that is preventing the world from loading properly.  Regardless, the next move is to test your mods and figure out which one is preventing Newcrest from working.  If you have a lot of files to go through, the 50/50 method can make the process a lot more efficient:
