    With those kind of specs. don't expect to be able to record video in live game without some choppiness. You will need something a little more up to date and powerful for that.

@shanea0214 Since your computer doesn't seem strong enough as it is, based on the comment above, have you tried lowering your graphics at all to see if that helps while recording in live mode? I use Bandicam (I've heard OBS can take quite a lot of processing power) and have custom graphics settings (ie a mix of mostly medium with a couple of high) since my laptop just meets recommended (i7-4720HQ, Nvidia GTX 960M and 12 GB RAM) and it seems to work reasonably well.
