Reinstall Windows 10 keep Sims

Need some guidance: I want to totally fresh reinstall Windows 10 to remove all Dell bloatware. Would love to keep the Sims 4 settings and files that my wife has been playing the last month or so since we downloaded this game from Origin.  Would love for this to be one of those copy-paste to an external HDD type situations, have an awful feeling it is going to be way more complicated.  Looking for help.  Thank you all in advance!
