Reinstalled Game, now it is not running
Hey all! My game was previously downloaded under User > OneDrive > Documents > Electronic Arts. This was causing problems with my mods like the TSR Installer. So I uninstalled the game, removed all my mods, and reinstalled it under the recommended folder, Program Files\EA Games\ The Sims 4. But now when I try to load up the game, I get stuck on the "The Sims 4" loading screen, I don't even get the spinning plumbob. Also, The Sims 4 folded does not have the folders it should, instead it has the folders pictured in the screenshot. I have not put back any of my saves nor my mods, and it is on the most recent game version. I'm running on Windows 11. How can I get my game to actually run?
@ClaudiaSoup That's fine if not ideal, so no, you don't have to change anything. If you want to change it, here's how, the part under the reg query command:
The guide is mostly about OneDrive, but that section works for changing the location of Documents no matter where it is now.
