Relationship stuck on lovers/acquaintance

So, I'm banging my head against a wall on this one.  My sim was in a relationship with Sim1 and it wasn't formalized, he never asked them out but it was sufficiently filled enough to rank as soulmate...

    Thanks I found the solution in the second link, the first link brought me back to this thread oddly.  I must have had the cheats wrong, or they were changed since the date of the threads I looked at earlier.  I had to fix it twice as I didn't clear their relationship to 0 thinking about -50 would do it, and it didn't.  I asked to be friends first to take the gf tag off in case that was messing with it too.  Then I set their relationship to zero, then brought it back to 100 and also added back 100 romance and that gave the soulmates.  All that was left was to ask them out again.  


    "You can try the friendship and romance modify cheats:

    modifyrelationship John Doe Jane Doe -50 LTR_Friendship_Main

      @WhantSomeEggs I'm glad you were able to fix things!  Although, I personally think the shift+click cheat menu is better than copying / pasting / typing all those cheats. 😉

        Oh! Sorry, in my excitement I forgot to reply to you. You must require the mod you spoke of because I tried the shift click first, but there were no options to change relationships except changing familial and marriage status. Though I agree, it would have been simpler to solve it that way (: Thanks for your help.
