Resetting town w/o losing data
I have city living pack and i realized that some homes dont have furniture when i try to move in my sims. Those homes used to have furnitures back then but not anymore. So how can i reset a town...

If you start a new clean game, save the houses to your library and place them in your old save is a way of getting them back.
