Resolution: Write a Book not completed

I want to talk about something you don't mention above: Sims 4 Seasons Expansion Pack
How accessible is the current experience? I can use parts of it
Summarize what in the product is difficult to use. There is a technical issue with the Resolutions portion of the expansion pack. My sim writes novels for a living. She has made about 4 in the past week, however for her Resolution "Write a Book", it is not registered as completed.
How is this making it more difficult? I am unaware of a cheat that can override this issue, so I've come here to see if there's anything I can do or if there will be an update later to fix this problem.
How can we reproduce this experience? Have the Make Resolutions as an option for a Holiday (mine was put under New Year's Eve). Then allow the sim to make a resolution to "Write a Book". When she/he both writes and completes writing the book, she/he may not get the moodlet that she's/he's completed the resolution.
I would just like the Resolution to be completed.
It looks like an issue similar to this one.
I have seen in the last post that someone found some kind of solution but I don't know if it will work for everyone.
