Unfortunately I looked and there are no other save slots or versions, all the other save slots in my saves folder are linked to other save files, and it won't let me enter to pick another household to play, everything on that file seems to be broken! Thank you for your help though
@maiaburton Out of curiosity, can you load Build/Buy in this save, or does that lead to endless loading as well?
If you'd like, you can upload the save for Crinrict to look at. Use a free filesharing service like Google Drive (already available if you have a gmail account) or Dropbox, and PM Crinrict the link.
