hayynyee There's a bug report for this type of error, potentially a couple actually. But before I send you that way, is it possible OneDrive is eating your save files? Here's how to see whether Sims 4 is storing your user data in a OneDrive folder:

If the folder is inside OneDrive, and you want it moved, let me know. If the folder is not in the location where you expect it to be, please look in this location for your saves.
Good thought, just checked and my one drive has nothing saved since 2023 and is not synced so that shouldn't be the problem. I have also turned off the beta for backup saves, save corrupted again this morning. All of my saves appear again in the Sims 4 folder under documents since repairing the game yesterday, again
