I don't know what Maxis did with this new save system, but my save folder is now over a gig in size. I use to be able to go and delete older saves, but not it doesn't show much and when I delete is ask if I am sure, but then does not delete the save. I don't need saves that are over a month old!!!
Thank you for your reply. I don't have an issue with OneDrive, it is not allowed to back up my main folders and it is on manual only for folder I have created. I never liked going into the save folder and deleting there because it is confusing with how they label things. I use to just check under the load save game or re capture older saves and then go in and delete the older ones when the size of the folder would reach 1 gig plus. This kept the size down. Now it only shows the most recent saves, but is obviously keeping all of the older ones.
ImMendota Can you delete the saves from within the saves folder? If not, or if they show up again, are you using OneDrive? It could be redownloading any save you delete. Right-click any save file and select Properties > General, then look at the Location, to see whether it's inside OneDrive's folder.
