Save game won't open (sims 4)

This all started when I accidentally put a reshade preset in the wrong folder. When I first opened the game without realizing that the reshade was supposed to go into a different folder, My save had been reset and I had only the choice to make a new one. Note that I don’t really do saves and stuff. I have one save and that’s it because I get nervous messing with the save stuff. My save file was on the save thing but when I tried to load it in, it was the second save I just made but all of the lots had the exclamation point danger sign instead of just being a lot. I tried to load my save in countless times but it didn’t work. This was like two weeks ago by the way. Also I made two different saves and they opened perfectly fine, it's just the one I play on. I'm playing on an Acer laptop if that helps.
