Saving to Library takes hours

Every time I build in sims 4  and try to save my lots to the library, it takes hours to save.

I use cc in my game except when I build. My builds are cc free and I always remove the mods folder whenever I build because I don't want any problems arising from it, but the bigger the lot, the longer it takes to save to library.

I started a build on a 40x30 lot in Newcrest, and 12 hours later it's still saving the lot. When I check my task manager it shows that the sims is still responsive, so it clearly hasn't crashed.

It's getting frustrating now because no matter what I try (removing mods, repairing gaming, freeing up ram, removing and generating new sims 4  folder, emptying tray folder before builds) I still end up with this issue.

And it doesn't just happen in Newcrest, it's in every world I try to build in. And the issue is only with saving lots. Saving sim tray files and the game in general works well and in a timely fashion, it's the lot tray files that are an issue.

    1. Check if your Windows is up to date.

    2. As I suspected your graphics card is a bit too weak. It has only 64MB of dedicated memory and should have 128MB the same applies to shared memory. Why can you still use it? Therefore, because you have really a lot of RAMs so your card can always count on system support. Look here for newer drivers for this card Intel (R) HD Graphics. Your graphics drivers are 4 years old.

    3. Another and the basic problem is too little free space on the C drive
If Windows creates temporary files, what he loves to do, there is simply no room for the game. This can also explain a long time of saving. The computer tries to push something in too little space. The computer can give up or try to save and push it inside and it can last even two days
Move as many programs as you can to D drive
Don't touch the game folder in Documents. If you will move only the game, it simply will create by default the new game folder in Docs
But you can move whole Documents folder to D drive

Lol I'm not sure exactly how I'm still able to play. I just know my game runs smooth except that one issue with the lot tray files.

I'll try all the solutions you suggested. Hopefully they work.

    Thank you
