Screenshots are all gone from my folder

OK so yesterday I was playing and all my screenshots were ok. I know for sure because I was taking screenshots for my family tree and my photo story. Today I was updating my family tree pictures and ...

    Windows 7 64 bit on my ASUS notebook

    8GB Ram, 

    CPU Intel Core i7 

    Graphic card Nvidia Geforce 740M

      And they are all not showing in the screenshot folder on your drive either ?

      Do you have enough space on it ?

        No they've completely vanished, I've still got 443 GB left so that shouldn't be the issue.

        Somehow my complete folder is empty. I'm quite puzzled...
