see whats happening

My sims game has been running fine for awhile now till my dude moves in his lady friend she kept having this interaction pop up "see whats happening" and she would gasp and go back to what she was ...

Is the Sim an alien ?

Do you have the same issue if you start a new game for testing purposes and put that family in there ?
