Sept Update -- Stuck on Loading Screen
Installed the update (not like it's a choice, my game wouldn't launch without first installing the update) removed all mods and cc. Went to launch the game and now I cannot get past the loading screen. I have tried using "resume" "new game" and "loading game" to try to get through this impenetrable loading screen with no luck. The furthest I've gotten is once, when using "load game" I got to the neighborhood and after that, I could not load a household. Got stuck in the loading screen again. I have all EPs, all but the star wars and warewolves game packs, pretty much all stuff packs and a couple kits. I have tried both repairing my game and repairing the EA app. What is going on?
@SimmerNoSaint Great, so you can now start moving files from the old Sims 4 folder to the new one. If you want to add back mods and custom content, test those files first. Here's a list of everything known to be broken after yesterday's patch:
For anything not on that list, you'll need to test it yourself. The 50/50 method can make the process more efficient:

Once you've done that, add back the contents of saves, Tray (saved households and builds), Screenshots and Recorded Videos if you care about those, plus the UserSetting.ini file for the login rewards. The rest can be discarded.
