Lagging and freezing since 1.14.2025 update
I thought this update was suppose to stop the lag for pc, now my game not only lags more but it’s also freezing and having longer loading screens. I am currently not using any mods or had mods downloaded.

brenjay91 Please test a new save, for comparison's sake, and let me know how it runs.
Please also provide a dxdiag. Hit Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
Same issue here . I just updated and now this. I didn’t have lag issues before.

Mine is doing the same. I actually can’t even save anything and I can only play for about 5 minutes before it freezes and I have to completely shut down my computer. Really frustrating honestly. I have a mac book and have never experienced this issue.
Same thing here. I can play for about 5-10 minutes but then it's like the save file becomes corrupted - it freezes on a loading screen and even when I force the game closed, that save will never open again. I've tried 5 new save games and same problem. No mods installed.
I am having this same issue on Mac after the recent 2025 update, specs MacOS Monterey 12.7.6. Every time I try to play my save, it freezes almost immediately. No mods or CC, I do use some cheats though.
Is there a Mac version of this as well?
I also have a Macbook and have never experienced this in my 10 yrs of owning one. Now after the update it's just freezing every time I try to play. Lmk if you find a fix for it!

So I hit the repair game button and tried it again, at first it lagged a bit but now it seems to run fine and there doesn’t seem to be an issue with the lag anymore.
