Sim from Cupids Corner in household reverts back to original image

My Sim married another Sim she met on Cupid’s corner, but any updates made to that Sim’s appearance or clothes don’t appear in the game and even though Sim is male, Sim speaks in female voice. Lots of glitches with Sim as well - Sim aging page shows wrong age, traits disappear occasionally from profile, showers in full clothes, freezes more often than other Sims. How do I get Sim from Cupid’s Corner to be editable and function like a normal Sim? Note - I am not using any CC or mods with this Sim!
