    I repaired and redownloaded sims and my problem has gone away. I have played for a while with no issue after doing this.

This seems like a house lot problem if you are suing EA houses or houses from the gallery make sure there is no missing roofs, walls and windows and doors. Especially if you are using builds before season.  Some of the Sims 4 builds in the Base Game don't have proper rooms because they built the houses and changed the way the build mode works.

    I built the houses my Sims live in and made sure they had enclosed spaces. The houses were created before the patch and everything worked. Now, they don't. Thanks for the reply however.
