Sim keeps trying to go to work

Hello,

I am having this irritating bug where my sim keeps wanting to go to work. He goes, and I can't cancel the option because he just gets the action back immediately and can not do anything else. My game crashes when I try resetting him or moving him to another lot. 

So far I've tried taking out all my mods, moving the Sims 4 folder out of documents, and repairing the game and nothing will fix it.

Please help, I was looking forward to getting back into the sims, and now I can't even play it because I can't get my sim back. ☹️

    So I actually fixed it! I used MC Command Center's command to teleport him to a different sim on a different lot, sent him home, and then was able to reset him without a crash. Not sure if this will fix it permanently, but thank you for checking and your help! I appreciate it a lot.

    @SavagePatchDoll Does this only happe to one specific Sim or also if you play an entirely different household ?

    If it's just that Sim, have you tried quitting the job and re-take it ?

    It happens with one specific sim. I tried quitting the job, but he gets the action to go to work back too fast to do anything else. I also tried using cheats to remove the job, and that did not work either.

    @SavagePatchDoll I tested your save and can definitely duplicate that. Very odd issue. It's like the Sim is stuck in that mode.


    Haven't found a solution yet but the easiest would probably be to save the whole family to the library and re-place it with a new copy. You'll loose relationships and inventory but I can't think of another solution atm (haven't tried that one either but I guess it should work)
