Sim won't go to work or university

Hi everyone! Hope I'm doing this right because I've never used this website ahah.

I'm having a problem with my sims that has never happened before: they won't go to work or to class. It all started yesterday when one of my sims was sent to celebrate her graduation and the other one had classes, he didn't go to classes and when I went back and tried to send him to class he would just grab his book but not move or anything. Today he did the same thing but the other sim (the one that had to go to work) did the same and I was confused. I saw today some error notifications (maybe two times) and that it wouldn't connect to the internet, which was pretty strange because it always connects to the internet. Hope I can fix this, thank you in advance 🙂
