It looks like you have an overheating problem Remove dust and make sure the fans are working. ASUS will have some monitoring software you can use to see temperatures and other info.
@jpkarlsen According to the AMD Radeon Software program the GPU temp doesn't get over 50 °C before the computer freezes. It is also brand new not even a week old, so I don't think dust is the problem. I'm currently trying to test with other games to see if it is only a Sims 4 problem.
Repairing Sims 4 seems to have solved the problems for that game, not sure why it didn't work the first time I tried. Either that or I did something I'm not aware of :D
