Sims 4 Activation Code is lost

Hi, i got my sims4 game some time last year and i have only just had the chance to try download it onto my newer laptop but i didn't download it into my old laptop as i was waiting and i have tired to put the code and it is saying it has already been used, i can't take it back  to the shop i got it from as it been ages since i brought the game. But i dont understand why its not working when i haven't even tried playing the game until today.

You don't need it.

The game is already in your Origin account. Just log in with that.

You should not have bought it/downloaded it from origin because origin will slow down the process and sometimes will not allow you to play even if you have already purchased it , my friends bought this game from the origin and later had some technical difficulties and glitches even though their computers are fast , updated and new. So my point is just to buy the normal  PC CD (computer game version) it's easier and stress-free.

Keep in mind that either if you install the game through the DVD or through Origin, in the end you will play the game through Origin so it doesn't really matter if you install it one way or another 😉

I bought The Sims 4 and played it a lot, the problem is that it never shows up in my games section which prevents me from playing the game.

If the game is no longer shows up on your Origin client, please try the following things

• Restart Origin
• Log out and back in and use the email address instead of the username. Make sure to use the one you used to register the game in the first place
• Make sure it's not under Hidden Games
• Reinstall Origin
• Restart your router/modem,
• Get in touch with a game advisor.

 I am having the same issues, I lost access to the email account that my activation code was linked too and now I cannot lay sims anymore... if anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated
