I also looked at the Task Manager while game was running and it said Sims 4 (32 bit) So I guess I am running it in 32. I just don't have the option to change to 64 bit?
What's your Origin and your game version ? Game can be found on the menu screen in the game or by using the cheat version and Origin can be found under Help in the menu

Just got all that done. No changes to anything. Still get the warning that Origin is in Compatibility mode when Origin starts. During the repair I get the VC++ Error but it still continues to check the rest of the files. And no change to the sims game. So Frustrating
@Monchichi4u2c Do you now have the option to run the game in 32 bit version? Also just to confirm did you run through the steps in the article @crinrict recommended: https://help.ea.com/en/article/your-vc-runtime-package-has-not-installed-correctly-error-troubleshooting/?
Yes, I still do not have an option to change it. But I think it is running in 32 anyway. When I go to task manager it says Sims 4 (32bit). Yes, I have gone to the game files and clicked on each of the VC++ files for 2010 and 2013 (64 and 86) to repair them.
Ok, so really strange...I Googled the Origin window that keeps popping up when I start up Origin that says "Origin is running in Windows Compatibility mode if problems occur take it off this mode." So I found a page and did what it said. Oh and I just checked to see if I had the tab in origin for 32 or 64 and I have that now too! It's in 64 bit by the way. So I thought maybe I would try that for Sims 4. I right clicked the game shortcut and went to properties. Then compatibility mode tab. I ran compatibility test and it said it had a solution. I checked it in game and I could paint walls and I placed a computer with no screen going black! So I kept the settings and so far things are working great. I'm going to play the game today and see if it all runs smoothly.

So, Monchichi, what website was it that you went to for the fix, and what'd it have you do? We're having the same problem. If you could post a link to the site, that'd be awesome. Or at least tell me what, exactly, you searched for so I can find it.
Wow, it has been a while since I did this correction. I think my earlier post explained it. I can't find the exact web page I used but this is what I did:
Find your Sims 4 game icon
Right click the icon
This brings up a window
Click on Properties
Click on the compatibility Tab
Click on the box that says "Run compatibility troubleshooter"
After it runs click "Try recommended settings"
The click "Test the program"
After the program runs, window it and go back to the troubleshooter. Click next
Click, save these settings.
Also, make sure you do the same steps to Origin icon
Also, when you right click, click the "run as administrator button for both the game and Origin
To know if it worked:
Go to Origin and on the screen with the Sims 4 game right click it
Click on "Game properties"
Under "When launching this game" there should be a tab
It should give you 3 choices. Present all options, Run Sims 4 in 64bit or run Sims 4 in 32bit. Click on the 64bit and ok
It should then work fine.
