Sims 4 Bucket List Not fulfilling.

My sim completes the requirements for the bucket list pretty quickly. Things like “read in a library for one hour” or even just getting married just do not fulfill the bucket list. I’ve even scrapped it twice and remade it to see if that would change it. I’ve deleted and redownloaded the sims and kept my save files separate to see if that would fix it. It does not. Nothing fills the list even if it’s exceptionally easy. I am on PC (Windows 11) with no mods installed at all. There was a former thread of this like 8/9 months ago but I didn’t see any sort of resolved issue and the link in the thread is expired.
