Sims 4 can't interract with anything
This issue began after buying and downloading 'Get Together' on Origin. A few hours after getting this expansion pack I began with this issues where I will be playing the game for a couple minutes (10 at the most if I'm really lucky), and then for no known reason my sims will suddenly be unable to interract with any of the objects or the sims around them. I can still get into buy/build mode sometimes, but nothing seems to help apart from quitting the game without saving and going back on. I have tried looking online and doing the fixes other people have tried without success, some of the things I remember trying are,
Uninstalling and reinstalling the Sims 4
Uninstalling and reinstalling Origin
Right clicking 'repair game' in Origin
Going offline and trying to play the game
Going through troubleshoot compatability
Changing the font sizes and icon sizes etc to 200
Renaming my Sims 4 folder so it generates another
Playing with a different/new family to see if the issue persists (it does)
Updating the game again
Trying to move the family from their household to another to see if that fixes it, however when I try this the game crashes instead
I've tried going on EA live chat but haven't gotten through to a game adivsor yet and doubt I will. I don't have a lot of money, so spending it on something that clearly just wont work is more than frustrating, especially since I've been playing since the original sims and never had half the issues with any of the other generations as I have with Sims 4. All I wanna do is play some sims ☹️
