Sims 4 cats and dogs

Question

Hi so in the sims 4 I got my cat pregnant. She was pregnant for a day or two (I honestly don’t know how long, it wasn’t that long) and I got a notification that she was in labor. After a couples hours (in game) she still hasn’t given birth. I went through my cc and and turned off any cheats but it still isn’t working? Any ideas?

Is the Cat a former stray that was adopted?If so there is a known bug with this.

No I added her into my household when I made the new save file

Try removing all Mods and CC see if that helps.

@GraceRyann1228in addition to what @jpkarlsen said also make sure that you are on your home lot. Pets can not have kittens or puppies somewhere else.
