I Use the Cheat Console by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+C. Input the cheat codes into the text input field that appears at the top of the screen. I input the cheat code testingcheats true.
I then input stats.set_skill_levelMajor_ (Stats period, set, underscore, skill, underscore, level Major, underscore then the skill I want but nothing happens) I have also tried stats.set_skill_level AdultMajor. Can someone help me.

From what I can tell you are missing a number, the number of how high you want the skill to be.
I Included the number on that cheat code and it STILL doesn't work! Now what??

Just a heads-up for the future, it would be better to set up your own new thread if you can only find posts that have been inactive for several years when searching for an issue. Games get updated and changed pretty often, so suggestions and steps from a few years ago may no longer be relevant.
- Don't "necropost." Reviving, updating or bumping old, outdated and irrelevant threads is not helpful for our community. It's best to check when the thread was created before you hit post, just to make sure it's not 2 years old for example.
