Sims 4 children and teen stuck at school but are at home can not play them.

Have you tried traveling to another lot ? Also are you using mods/cc in your game ?

Moving out and back in ?

Would you be willing to share your save game ?

I had this same issue since the most recent update. It didn't happen right away but then on the weekend for some reason they were home but stuck. Traveling lots didn't make a difference, restarting game didn't work, switching households didn't work, but selecting 'leave school early' did and finally let the game see them as home. Just a friendly FYI I experienced this bug as well but the leave school did luckily work for me. Thank goodness!! I wish I tried the easiest solution first but for some reason never thought to..just glad I found this thread and it worked.

I have same thing. Tried everything only repair helps for couple of days then child stuck at school again. It happens when my sim working in her own private business such as vet or restaurant.
