  • @sanais_gae Unfortunately, this is not a *game* bug but a problem with user created CC. Many CC pieces become problematic with any new patch, as do mods. That's because they rely on things that have to be changed by the patch (often to correct real bugs.) I wouldn't be surprised if anything skin or makeup related became "broken" lately because EA had to do a *major* update to skin and makeup (at the request of a large number of Simmers.)

To figure out which is a problem, it's recommended that you do the 50/50 method. First, remove all your CC/mods (and put them on the desktop for later.) Also delete the localthumbcache.package. Restart your game to make sure it works fine without any CC. Then exit. Put half of your CC in the mod folder and restart your game. If the game has no problem, then the CC was not in that batch. Take it out and put in the other half. Restart.

If at some point you find a problem, then you do the 50/50 on that batch, winnowing down until you find the problem piece.

If you already know that a piece is a problem, you can also deliberately put it on a Sim in CAS. Then use the Sim 4 Tray importer to remove the offending piece (or find missing pieces such as meshes. You can find it easily, as well as instructions for removing things, with Google or other search engine.)

You might also want to keep an eye on the Broken/Updated Mods and CC thread on the official site. They usually make one for each update. It looks at which pieces are now broken or obsolete and often have links to replacements. This is the most recent one: https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/984645/broken-updated-mods-cc-skin-tones-dec-2020/p1
  • I tried the 50/50 method but in in the first batch and second batch the conflict cc didnt show and i think the reason is just that sims 4 just tstruggled handling the cc's because i have more than 2000 cc's installed

    Hello!

I don't know if you're problem is solved but i have the same problem and i think i have found whats wrong! All my cc works fine until i take off my sims shoes, thats when my sim becomes bald and "glitches". It only happens on male sims (atleast for me). So first of all, try to always download cc that is up to date and just keep shoes on your sims.

I hope i could be of help. (I am not a proffesional, nor do i work for EA, i'm just a bored person with to much spare time trying to help)

@sanais_gae It could also be a conflict between files.

There's a tool called mod conflict detector. It hasn't been updated in a while and I'm not sure how good it still works and as it's third party you'll be using at your own risk.

It can detect conflicts between mods/cc as well as content that may not be Sims 4.

    It's worth trying.
  • @sanais_gae  Your game looks to be out of date with the recent patch, as it shows the version as 1.60.54.1020?  For pc is should be 1.69.59.1020
