So today I was curious enough to check my laptops cpu while the sims 4 was running. It was holding steady just under 70c (loading another lot would make it jump to about 73c~), I'm wondering if this is too warm or not. I also play with a fair bit (in my opinion) of cc.
That would depend on the brand and model of CPU you have in your laptop.
Intel processors usually can withstand temperatures between 80-95 Celsius.
AMDs have a larger variance in maximum temperatures, some as low as 60 Celsius.
Personally, I avoid temperatures over 80 Celsius with my Intel CPU.
70 is fine, but maybe not if the laptop is on your legs. So I'd be more concerned about that over the system going thermonuclear. :P
