sims 4 crash on startup

The sims 4 crashes at "the sims 4" opening loading screen within a few seconds of starting the game. I never get past that loading screen to the neighbourhoods or to choose to load a game. It white screens and says "the sims 4 has stopped working". I have tried verifying files in steam, repairing in origin, disbaling origin overlay, running in windowed mode, deleting and reinstalling both origin and the entirety of the sims 4, deleting sims 4 file in my documents. I didn't play the game in november, and bought 2 new dlcs last week (eco lifestyle and get famous) so the problem has started in the last 4-5 weeks. I will attach my dx.diag

    @sunderz16  As fast look at the dxdiag does not show anything. Do you have mods? Have you tried running the game with out mods (if you have them)? The video driver is old by Nvidia. I have a Nvidia graphics card and I don't update unless I have issues. You might try freeing up space on your system drive. I like to see 10% or more free.Do you play the game on Steam or Origin?

    Thanks for replying. 0 mods or cc ever been used by myself. Do you mean my video driver is old? Using the Nvidia Geforce programme it says my most recent driver is up to date. Yeah i don't have a huge amount of space i can definitely try to free some up but i had little space when the game ran fine a month ago. I play through steam, but obviously launching through steam opens the origin application anyway. I have tried launching from steam, origin, and directly just the exe.command.

    @sunderz16

    Your Graphics driver is 2 years old. Please visit nvidia.com to upgrade. If it still crash after that please generate a new DxDiag and post it here.

  • Hi there cheers for replying, dont know why my driver was so old, Geforce app said it was the latest, anyway i updated to the most recent i could (472.12), same problem sadly, ill attach the dx.diag

    @sunderz16 WsAppService.exe is not a Windows core file. This belongs to Wondershare software. It has been reported to use up memory. Several users reported problems went away after stopping this service. You may need admin rights to uninstall. I recommend if you don't need WonderShare software that you remove this service as uninstalling the WonderShare program doesn't remove it. At the very least you have to find what is starting the program (maybe set to auto start) and stop it from runing.
