I'm also getting this issue, but rather than crashing, my sims simply stop moving and then interacting with objects and trying to walk anywhere, or pressing anything on the radial menus does nothing.
@KallexLexington Are you using mods? If so, please test without them. If the problem persists, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
