Sims 4 Crashes when loading into household

@Rosehearts226  Does your computer run Windows or macOS?  (This is the Sims 3 section, but I can move this thread to one of the TS4 sections instead.)

When you say you restored the game to factory settings, you removed or renamed your Sims 4 game folder and let the game generate a new one?  (If not, please try that now.)  If you still get crashes even without adding any other content to the clean folder, then please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

I had the same issue. Turns out it CC bookcases.

What so you mean by cc bookcases?

I had the same problem with my game, I had those cc bookcases <removed> placed on my lot, so I was a bit confused. When I managed to move my family out and keep the furniture, I started to take out of the family inventory everything one by one. When I placed those cc bookcases, my game crached. So if anyone still has them in a mod folder, I recommend deleting it and everthing should be back to normal 🙂

Any idea what this issue could be if one doesn't have any mods/script mods? I disabled all of mine when I purchased University so am not running any mods.
I open my game, try to load into a house and it crashes ☹️
