Sims 4 Crashes when loading into household

So the new update came out where they brought in legacy so I updated my game but didn’t get legacy since I didn’t need it. And now I try to load into any of my households it’ll crash. I tried moving ...

    I fixed the issue. I went through my mods folder and took out all the script mods that could’ve expired and the game worked again

@Rosehearts226  Great, then this is now in the PC tech section.

When you say you restored the game to factory settings, you removed or renamed your Sims 4 game folder and let the game generate a new one?  (If not, please try that now.)  If you still get crashes even without adding any other content to the clean folder, then please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

    @Rosehearts226 I don't know anything about script mods or fixing a game, going into any files and editing things, and frankly I have no interest to do it, thats not why I play the game, I just want to play it. Do you know if there's anything happening to fix this glitch with an update?

      crashes have some many reasons.

      If none of these help you, please create your own thread, providing the following information

      • Your Computer's DxDiag. You can attach the file directly to your post.
      • Any critical events you find.
      • Attach the content of this file documents\electronicarts\thesims4\lastcrash.txt(or variations of it). You can attach the file directly to your post.
      • Are you using custom content or mods in your game ?
      • At what point does your game crash ?
      • Is the crashing random or is there a pattern ?
      • Is it an occasional crash or constant ?
