@GemzyX Your C drive is almost out of space. This alone could be causing the crashes: Sims 4 creates temp files, as does Windows, and between the two they could eat up that 4.7 GB all by themselves. The Downloads folder is a good place to look for extraneous files, but it might be easier to move some data (say, a couple of games) to E. Having 25 GB free is a good goal for the overall health of your system and should be manageable.
Additionally, if you use OneDrive, it can push the contents of Documents to cloud storage and remove the local copy when space on C is low enough. That could cause a crash as well, so if simply clearing space doesn't help, please let me know whether you use OneDrive.

@GemzyX When temp files are created the operating system (Windows) creates them on the system drive C:. The page file is for virtual memory. This space on the system drive can be used for temp files and other operating system house keeping. The operating system take priority over applications. The page file is flexible - it can be used for other purposes. If this gets low the operating system is selfish and denies applications thus the application will fail before the operating system. You have WAY too little free space available. Memory management is very complex and this is an over simplification of how it works. Just like mother nature - don't mess with the operating system.
- 4 years ago@roberta591 Thank you. I’ll get my boyfriend to move some stuff over and see if it works. I’ll let you know

@GemzyX That's fine, but Sims 4 will still place temp files on C. So please clear more space and see how things go. If that doesn't help, move the game to E: open your Origin game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, select Move Game, and choose a folder on E. Origin will take care of the rest.
