Sims 4 crashing constantly

Recently the Sims 4 is crashing a lot on my Alienware. It not only crash in live mode, it crash on start up, on the first loading scree, etc. The drivers are all up to date.

In the dxdiag it mentioned a python error? Should I reinstall the game? Or is my python in the PC the issue?

    konansock  The python37_x64.dll error has multiple causes, but the most common at the moment is a processor that the motherboard is overclocking, by default, to an extreme level.  I don't know what options your BIOS has, as laptops don't always offer the full range of settings.  But please boot into BIOS and look for a setting called "CPU Turbo Boost" or similar.  It would likely be under Advanced settings and should have the word "Turbo" in it at least.  Please disable this if you find it.

    Thank you! I knew overclocking could be an issue so I disabled it in AWCC, never thought that Intel would still do it itself! The game runs in a more stable state now (though it seems that lagging is worse now).

    I have the same system, how did you get the DxDiag if you don't mind me asking. Thank you in advance. I'm having same issue but mine us not overlooking.

    I typed DxDiag in the search bar and it will show up.

    konansock  If you want to troubleshoot the lagging, please let me know whether it happens in a new save too, and in your main save but playing with a different household, one you've never played before.  You don't need to save your progress.
