Do you have any mods or CC (custom content)? Try taking that out.

Could you try removing the entire folder with mods? Just place it on your desktop and test.
The mods folder is completely empty....I'm in the process of going through Sims4 at the moment and removing some of my 'ongoing' families as i'm at a total loss as to what to do. The toddler package has never worked properly with all 'choices' being balnk and having to remember where they are after chosing a few times. Thank you again for the reply.
Right I've gone into my Electronic Arts folder and my EA Folder (two different folders one for Sims 2 and one for Sims 4) and the content diference is startling....in the Sims 2 folder there are folders for Camera, Collections, Config, Logs, LotCatalog, Movies, Neighborhoods, Projects, Saved Sims, SC4TTerians, Storytelling, Teleport, Thumbnails BUT in the Sims 4 folder I only have cache, cashestr, Custom Music, onlinethumbnailcache, saves, screenshots, tray and videocamerastates? I'm not computer savvy so much but i have never deleted anything from the Sims 4 other than the mods which my daughter had downloaded into the Mods folder. Very confused...may have to contact EA.
