Sims 4 digital deluxe (pre-ordered & pre-loaded) won't startup.
i don't understand why I haven't seen a solution to this yet.... i pre-ordered and pre-loaded (days ago). When I go to play it just thinks for a few seconds then.... nothing. No errors, no white s...
When you state that there was no critical event in Reliability Center , I think that I am stuck on the same issue as you.
Could you open Task Manager and look for ActivationUI.exe & TS4.exe when you start the game to see if these processes ever run.
In my case both processes appeared but then disappear after few seconds without any visual clues other than on the Task Manager.
Actions Taken so far...
- Problem Noticed
= Check Perfmon /rel >> No critical evident about Sims4 process logged (other event seems to be properly logged)
- Update Drivers ( FW / Drivers are already up to date)
- Uninstall Sims4
- Manually Uninstalled Origin
- Change System Locale to US (was JP when installed)
- Clean Boot
- Install Origin
- Install Sims4
- Restart to Clean Boot again
= Same problem
- Compatibility Modes (XP/7/8) + Admin. Run didn't solve the problem
- Enter Safe Mode with Networking
= Same problem
The only thing I haven't tried yet is to reinstall OS but that was not what I expected to be the solution though.
EDIT : Some users on other posts has said about log files in C:\ProgramData\Origin\Log , So far it is the only source of clues on TS4 and ActivationUI processes.
