yes they can its the same as if you download the game
it is not that battery consuming but you might not want to go on it too long so maybe go on it for an hour and then let it have a break and then go on it again for another hour as your computer will heat up
you dont need internet to play the game but you do need it for the downloading part

You can Play The Sims 4 on PC and Mac, and also PS4 and Xbox One, nothing else 🙂
There are other Sims games available on other platforms though (like android and iOS), I recommend you to check out The Sims webpage.Also it's worth mentioning that the computer and console versions are entirely different games (but they look and work the same), so if you want to play on PC and PS4 you need two games.
So no, you cannot play The Sims 4 on wii u.
