Re: [CURRENT ISSUE] Sims 4 DLC shows as installed, won't load in-game

Hi, I’m having a frustrating problem with The Sims 4.

I own the base game on Steam, and I’ve bought some DLC packs on both Steam and EA. My EA and Steam accounts are properly linked.

When I launch the game through Steam, it says the EA DLC packs need to be downloaded to use, even though they’re already downloaded through the EA App. Steam doesn’t recognize any of the EA-purchased DLC, and I can’t use them in-game.

Meanwhile, the EA App does show the Steam DLCs in the “Manage Add-Ons” section. It feels like everything is connected but still not working together.

I’ve spent a lot of money on this content, and I just want to be able to use the packs I paid for. Is there any way to fix this, or do I have to rebuy the DLC on Steam just to use it with the Steam version?

Please help me understand what I can do to fix this.
