So, i had this issue too. For a simpler solution, I just saved and quit to main menu instead of using the other saving methods. I don't know why, but this worked. 👍
I AM TIRED OF TROUBLESHOOTING! I was happy with Sims 3 but my computer was running that at STUPID HIGH FPS and was making my graphics card HOT! So they suggested I UPGRADE - NOW I get this stuff.
