@melissa4ester The first thing you need to do is fix the Windows updates that failed. This could fix the issue. Are you running any other programs while playing the game? If so try closing all other programs and just run the game and see how it works.

It seemed to work after I updated the ones that failed but about and hour and a half later it froze and I had to turn off my laptop. Could it be my save? My sister said she had no problems when she created a new save file and played.
- 7 years agoTwo weeks ago my Sims4 started freezing every minute or so for about 20 seconds. Then this week The whole computer was freezing. I checked windows "Event Viewer" "windows Logs" "System" and found hundreds of Warning entries in the log about my vsmraid "Reset to device, \\Device\\RaidPort0, was issued.".I looked it up on the internet and found this page [Removed by CM] that had me edit the power setting in the registry.Sims4 does not freeze anymore and nether does my computer after the registry edit.I have set me sims4 to auto save every hour now.

Hi @jessmorrow,
It's unlikely the members in here would be active to reply now. Could you please open a new thread and add any information you feel will help us understand what you're experiencing?
Freezing can be caused by a variety of things so the more information you can include about your issue, what you're seeing and the steps you've already tried, the better members will be able to tailor their advice back. 🙂
I'll lock this thread here.
Thanks,
EA_Lanna
