SIMS 4: GAME HAS RESET ITSELF?

so recently i opened my sims 4, and when i opened it gave me a tutorial on my expansion packs and other things. i was really confused on was happening. so i went to the main menu and i press the play button and i can't find the household i was playing on before hand... so i press play again and it took me to the create a sim thing. then i was really confused. so i quickly created a sim and pressed next and ALL my houses were gone! EVERYTHING was gone. All my households and all my characters were gone ;(. So i went to my electronic arts folder and i looked in the saved folder and everything was gone the only thing that was in there was the things i saved today. All my mods are still there but everything else GONE! i did not download anything before this happened. i did nothing that would make this happen!! Also Origin updated before this happened. i have no idea how to fix this so someone please help. :'( :/
