I'm sick of this. It's always, "disable your mods", etc. I don't have mods. I just want to play the game, not be a computer programmer. I always waste at least a month of my life trying to fix this and lose everything I created only to have to start again. I'm seriously sick of not being able to count on being able to play the Sims when I click on it.
same happening to me I got it to work recovered saves then got error 34 when I removed all mods out of game driving me mad it must be a windows issue. someone on a video said on pc/laptop make a new user move sims folder to it
Same here!! So sick of Sims 4 with EA. With this update, I can't get the game going at all. No custom content!! All folders in the cache, etc....are cleaned out. Have REPAIRED TWICE!!! NOTHING!! WHAT NOW??

kellenvh laukfc cutlass76 As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs, that is if you can get that far.
If you still can't play, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
absolutely raging so started fresh new game had stuff saved in my gallery. went to get something from online one games messed up again saves not showing up
