Try taking out your mods folder, just place it on you desktop and test the game wihtout.
- Anonymous9 years agoAlthough it worked I am wondering if there's any possible solution that doesn't involve getting rid of my mods folder. I made a duplicate of my folder and left it on my desktop and repaired the game with the mods folded in it, this caused my mods to not show up in the game and didn't solve my problem either.
Well that means you have something broken in the mods folder.
So try putting back half and test the game, keep splitting until you find the mods/cc that are broken.
Either update those or delete them.

I found the mod that wasn't working and removed it "Wicked Whims", after removing that and all the files that are related to that one.
but even after doing that the mods weren't showing, I took out the mods and repaired the game without it, then i put the mods back in and it wasn't working, but then I added my second copy of the mods back in a desperate attempt, so now i have a mods folder, and inside is my mods 2 folder with the same mods as my normal mods folder. It works now. The cci had previously used on my sims isn't showing up on those sims now but i can fix it in cas.fulleditmode, hopefull this helps anyone else with this issue
