Sims 4 Growing Together Issues - still, four weeks later

So, I bought this expansion pack when it came out on March 16th, and since then, it has not been functioning. It doesn't show up in my pack library on the main screen, I'm missing pack items, and the world doesn't show up on the world screen. I have tried every fix: uninstalling and reinstalling the EA App, uninstalling and reinstalling Sims 4, uninstalling and reinstalling the pack, clearing the cache in EA, restarting the EA app, etc. I never had the CAS Demo, so that's the only fix that I haven't tried.

I've been in contact with EA Help for four weeks, and they've been utterly useless. I've asked for a refund several times, since I paid for the pack expecting it to function properly.

Does anyone else have any ideas or tips? 

  • @CheriBree  Please uninstall Sims 4 with Revo Uninstaller just to make sure you remove all the relevant files:

    • Put aside your Sims 4 folder in Documents\Electronic Arts and rename it to something that doesn't include the words "Sims 4."
    • Download Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine) from here.
    • Launch Revo, select Sims 4 from the list, and click Uninstall.
    • Once the game is uninstalled, select "Moderate" under "scanning modes," and click Scan.
    • Review the list, in case there's something you want to save; otherwise, click Select All, and then Delete.
    • Close Revo, and restart your computer.

    It's worth uninstalling the EA App with Revo as well.  I don't have instructions for that at the moment, but the process should be straightforward.  Restart again when you're done.

    Reinstall the App, then Sims 4, and your packs should work.  Hopefully.
