Sims 4 Hair/CC Problem

So recently i learned how to download custom content for a wider range for my sims clothes, hair etc. when i use the hair in create-a-sim its perfectly fine but when i'm in live mode the on the sims i'm playing have blonde streaks through them and ruins the whole hair style, i have searched up many ways to prevent this from happening and most people have suggested to turn of laptop mode (a laptop is what i use for my game play) an when i turn this off normally it makes my game go all fuzzy and strange s i normally just turn it off and on again but i would like to enjoy playing the sims without having to make sure i do this every time, i know it could be the custom content but some people (like one of my friends does not experience this issue, i was just wondering if you knew any other ways to prevent or maybe even in a new patch update do something about it, i hope you could get in touch soon
